
Avocado & Egg Toast
A spiced avocado toast with a hummus base, garlic-rubbed bread, and a soft-boiled egg on top. The Fuel.fit 7-Spice Blend gives it a warm, smoky kick while the hummus adds an extra layer of protein and keeps everything in place.

For a pre-run meal, eat 2-3 hours before your run to give the fats time to digest. The soft-boiled egg timing is key: 6.5 minutes gives you a jammy yolk that is set enough to hold but still creamy inside.
Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the egg in and cook for exactly 6.5 minutes. Transfer immediately to a bowl of ice water and let cool for at least 2 minutes.
While the egg cooks, toast the bread until golden and crisp.
Cut the garlic clove in half. Pierce one half with a fork and rub the cut side firmly across the warm toast. The rough surface grates the garlic right into the bread. Discard the garlic.
Spread the hummus evenly over the garlicky toast as a base layer.
In a small bowl, roughly mash the avocado with the lime juice and Fuel 7-Spice Blend. Keep it chunky.
Pile the spiced avocado on top of the hummus layer.
Peel the egg, slice in half lengthwise, and place both halves on top of the avocado.
Finish with red pepper flakes, a drizzle of olive oil, and fresh cilantro if using.
