Sweet & Gold Fries
Crispy air fryer fries made with a mix of sweet potato and regular potato, seasoned with the Fuel 7-Spice Blend. The sweet potato brings vitamin A and fiber while the regular potato adds potassium and fast-digesting starch. Use as a side with the Smash Burger, Baked Chicken Strips, or any recovery meal that needs extra carbs.

Soaking the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking draws out extra starch and makes them crispier, but it is optional if you are short on time. Cut the regular potatoes slightly thicker than the sweet potatoes since sweet potato burns faster from natural sugars - this way they finish at the same time. Do not overcrowd the basket - cook in two batches if needed.
Cut the sweet potato into sticks about 1 cm thick. Cut the russet potato into sticks slightly thicker, about 1.5 cm. Keeping them even is key - uneven fries mean some burn while others stay soft.
Toss both potatoes with olive oil, Fuel 7-Spice Blend, and salt in a bowl until evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400F (200C).
Spread the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd - cook in two batches if needed. Overcrowding steams them instead of crisping.
Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy on the outside and soft inside.
While the fries cook, mix the mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl. Adjust sriracha to taste.
